Technology will be better or worse than now. The technology in 50 year have been advanced a lot.  The technological innovations that are looming on the horizon of the next fifty years will so change our lives today that only a change of global mentality can assimilate them. Pollution will be (better/worse) than now. The pollution in aproximate 50 years will be worse than now because the ozone layer will be destruct, because the cars  smoke increment the CO2 in the atmosphere, all this increment the temperature and produce the destruction of cities and a lot of deaths. All the CO2 is increasing the Global Warming  According to our investigation in 50 years we will not potable water. This will generate a big problem, because we cannot create water. We have to search a way to live with a sustitute of Water. Another problem is the contamination of the land, this is caused because this is used in excess and this infertile for agriculture. This will generate a problem with the food, since there won't be products to consume.  Another big problem is the large amount of garbage humans produce on the planet, these garbage goes to the oceans and is responsible for the death of many animals. The Global Warning Global warming will be worse than now, because industries will go on polluting the world. This will create a serious environmental problem. This will increased temperatures around the world eight degrees Fahrenheit. It may not sound like much, perhaps the difference between wearing a sweater and not wearing one on an spring day, but  this will cause other repercussions in other areas.  Glacier melting The level of oceans will raise 2 or 3 meters in some areas as a result of ice melting in the polar zones, this will make the oceans rising their level significantly.
